Garlic Butter Pork Chops
Ingredients:
2–4 boneless or bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
-
Salt and black pepper
-
1 teaspoon paprika (optional, for color/flavor)
-
2 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
-
3–4 tablespoons butter
-
4–5 garlic cloves, minced
-
1–2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
-
¼ cup chicken broth or white wine (optional, for deglazing)
Instructions:
-
Season: Pat pork chops dry. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and paprika.
-
Sear: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and sear for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (internal temp should reach 145°F / 63°C). Remove chops and set aside.
-
Make Garlic Butter Sauce: Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant (don’t let it burn).
-
Deglaze (optional): Pour in chicken broth or white wine to scrape up browned bits from the pan. Let simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly reduced.
-
Finish: Stir in fresh parsley. Return pork chops to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter sauce over them. Heat for another minute.
-
Serve: Drizzle extra sauce over the chops. Great with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.
Tips:
-
Don’t overcrowd the pan to get a good sear.
-
Let pork chops rest for 5 minutes after cooking to keep them juicy.
-
Add a sprinkle of grated Parmesan or a squeeze of lemon at the end for extra flavor.
Enjoy your meal! 🐷🧄🧈
